Allfarthing School

Sports

We aim to provide as many opportunities as possible for children to represent our school in sporting festivals, tournaments and events with other schools. We do this in a range of sports including football, cross country, netball, lacrosse, rugby, athletics and tag games. To provide opportunities for children of all abilities, we have skill development and team training sessions led by our sports coaches who nurture our pupils' skills and interests.

Children are selected for events and competitions based on the following:

  • To give children opportunities they may not have experienced
  • To give children an opportunity to represent Allfarthing Primary school.
  • To develop talented children in a specific sport or event.

Opportunities are also offered to inspire children to be the best they can be and ignite a passion for sport. Inclusive sports games, festivals and competitions are organised to watch live sporting events and play in sports venues.  Opportunities are also offered to inspire children to be the best they can be and ignite a passion for sport.
