Lunchtime
A healthy diet is important for children’s development and a good lunch will ensure that they are able to concentrate during the afternoon. At Allfarthing you can choose between a cooked meal or a packed lunch from home. Our school lunches are all cooked on the premises from fresh ingredients. In January 2024 we made a decision to use halal meat for our school dinners; this has given more pupils at school the option of a meat hot dinner which we are very proud of. There is always a choice of hot and cold food and always a vegetarian option.
Children can have salad and fresh fruit with every meal and our lunches conform to all the food standards and nutritional recommendations.

- Cherry tomatoes or sticks of vegetables
- Small pot of potato, pasta or rice salad
- Hard-boiled egg
- Soup in a flask
