PE & Sport Premium Funding
Sports Premium
The PE and Sports Premium must be used to fund improvements to the provision of PE and sport for the benefit of pupils to give them the opportunity to develop their PE skills and lead a healthy lifestyle.
In 2022-23 Allfarthing’s funding will be spent on:
- Weekly CPD teacher training with Mr V Sports.
- Subsidies for Pupil Premium pupils to access sports clubs before and after school.
- Subscription to Get Set 4 PE – lesson-supporting materials.
- Lacrosse teacher running sports clubs and CPD sessions with year 4 teachers.
- The organisation and running of sports day.
- Additional swimming lessons for year 4/5 pupils.
- Weekly running club
A review of our spending and its impact will be made in July 2023.
PE Premium funding expenditure 2021-22
Allocations for the academic year are calculated using the number of pupils in years 1 to 6 as recorded on the January census. Schools with 17 or more pupils receive £16,000 plus £10 per pupil. Allfarthing Primary received £18,968 for 2021-2022.
